Meet the Pack Leaders
Molly Feeney
"The Puppy Professional"
I am the owner and lead trainer of Just Paws Puppy Training, LLC. I guess you could say I was born into the world of "DOGS" as my passion for dogs began at an early age. My family raised Labrador and Chesapeake Bay retrievers which sparked the enthusiasm I still hold for animals today.
In 1992 I began an in-home puppy care business which flourished into puppy behavior and puppy training. In 1995, I went on to open one of the first off-leash positive reinforcement puppy training centers, where I conducted small group behavior, socialization and training classes.
Having worked in different animal hospitals on the path toward a career in Veterinarian medicine, I found a way to make a difference in people's lives through their puppies. Today my focus is on teaching owners to become natural leaders in their puppy's lives using a positive and practical training approach.
My goal is to help families raise, train, obedient, confident and loving pups.
All my trainers and handler's pride themselves on their years of experience and wisdom to share.
With over 15 years of experience and background with animals, I still find it inspiring to work with people and their puppies.
Wolfie
"Pack Trainer"
Wolfie Smith comes to us with a lifetime of experience with dogs, and over 10 years of hands on experience in working with both flushing and pointing hunting dogs.
He also owns and runs his own Kennel, "Wolf River Griffons", where he personally trains, handles, hunts, tests, and competes with his own Wirehaired Pointing Griffons: Tobie (5 yrs), Pete (3 yrs) and Rosie (9 mos).
Wolfie is currently a member of his breed club, the American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Association, actively participating in discussion and action in the areas of breed health and genetics, nutrition, high-level performance training, and breed rescue.
Additionally, Wolfie has successfully trained in formal AKC-style Obedience, and has trained for entry into the AKC Conformation events. Wolfie and his Griffs have also been a part of the Just Paws 'family' for several years now, participating in many of the Just Paws Training experiences.
Both Wolfie and Just Paws firmly believe that young working dogs need to be taught and guided through real life skills and become a part of families. They are committed to insuring that dogs are given the best possible environment from day one, focusing on socialization, companionship, and a positive working opportunity.
Jody Smith
"Playgroup Handler"
Jody is the owner of Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters which she started up in the late 90's www.tonkapetsitters.com
She is also the founding board member of the Professional Pet Sitters of Minnesota, along with being a great ringleader of many dog events around the Twin Cites.
A true Minnesotan, Jody grew up in Minnetonka and still lives around the lakes today. As a lover of all dogs Jody enjoys our little puppies and small playgroups so much we had to adopt her. She is our number one Puppy wrangler in our Wayzata location.
